Royce Yeater

Royce earned a Bachelor of Architecture from North Dakota State University and a Masters in Architectural History from the University of Virginia. He practiced as an historical architect in the Upper Midwest for 30 years, and was concurrently involved in leadership of several non-profit preservation organizations.

In 2001 he left his practice to serve as Midwest Director of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. He is now retired and does limited consulting in historic preservation from his home in Minnesota.

Royce reviews planning documents for all projects and advises on the development of projects in Illinois, Missouri, Iowa, and Minnesota.
